Around 20 years ago (sheesh I feel old) a friend gave me a dream book. I was a bit obsessed with dreams I was having and she gave me this book as a Christmas present one year. I LOVE this book! It went over a lot of basics of meditation and it got me intrigued. Though it was not often, I started meditating. Over the years I have incorporated meditation into my life more and more and the more I do it, the more I have come to find the benefits.

Meditation made simple
I read somewhere once that meditating for 20 minutes equates to taking a 1.5 hour nap, but you won't have that "sleep hangover" afterward. Instead, you'll feel awake and refreshed and more conscious. I really feel this to be true. Give it a try, even if just for a couple minutes at first, you will really start to notice a difference.
